New York Event Photography- Be Well Potluck Party

Being a photographer in NYC is a lot of fun. I get to meet so many interesting people and get invited to fun & interesting events. One such event was a Healthy Potluck Party hosted by Arielle from Be Well With Arielle. It was a gathering of the finest NYC food bloggers, yoga instructors, health & wellness coaches and other female professionals in health industry.

Arielle hosts amazing events where everyone feels welcomed and you can easily make new friendships and grow your business opportunities. Not only this event was fun but it was also very informative, I have learned so much about new business and opportunities from all the talented ladies that have attended this event.

It was held at a beautiful & trendy organic mattress store Coco Mat . Equipped with a full kitchen it was a fun & comfy backdrop to this healthy networking event.

Not only I got to got home with a belly full of healthy & delicious food but also recipes to take home with me!

If you are interested in attending on of these even check Arielle’s website for more info

Over 50 & Fabulous!

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing a woman in her mid 50s. This age group is one of my favorites to photograph. I love how graceful, elegant and confident women get as they mature. To me, they get more beautiful with age and I often find inspiration while working with them.

We live in a society that celebrates youth and it is so refreshing to see real, mature women celebrate a different stage in their lives and show everyone that getting older is fabulous!

NY Photographer | Fashion Blogger Photoshoot

Recently I had the pleasure of working with Carly from She is a fashion blogger, stylist,  personal shopper and a mother of two adorable boys! She is what many women aspire to be… a successful entrepreneur  with a beautiful family. But wait, she is also stunning! Just see for yourself.

Needless to say that this fashionista brought the most amazing outfits for us to play (oops) work with! The photoshoot was uber fun and I can see why Carly is so successful in her carrier. She truly loves what she does and her enthusiasm for fashion is contagious. I found myself reorganizing my wardrobe that same night!

While I was learning what personal shopping experience is like, I was pleasantly surprised that it is not as expensive as one may think. Carly provides budget friendly but stylish solutions from reasonably priced stores (ex. Old Navy). She also offers Box Service for those that live further away. Its so simple and convenient…just fill out a questionnaire, she will go shopping and put together a box and ship it to you. All you have to do is try it on and send back what you don’t like.  For those who do not like, or don’t have the time to shop it is such a great solution.

Portrait Photography – Inspring Women

Being a portrait photographer can be rewarding in so many ways. Meeting new people, hearing wonderful stories and helping women feel good about themselves are just a few. Occasionally, I meet incredible women who have gone through challenging times in their lives. Seeing how strong they are is really inspiring. I have recently had a pleasure of meeting and working with one these women. Madeline has been battling Rheumatoid Arthritis since the birth of her second child. Raising two children while suffering from fatigue, pain and immobility is no easy task. Although she is no longer able to work full time she enjoys teaching part-time, and while undergoing many treatments and taking medication she is  leading a healthy lifestyle by example. Exercise, yoga, healthy meals, and a positive attitude are a part of her every day life. What a great role model for her kids and students! Madeline, thank you for the opportunity to work with you and for sharing your story!
